A lightning visit from a crappy blogger - with book reccs!

I am currently on a reading binge, after a rather horrendous couple of weeks, I am sure I will be back to my regular sporadic blogging soon.

But thought I would pop back in quickly with some reccs, if ebooks are your thing (though some are now in print) I have to highly recommend Moira Rogers Southern Arcana series from Samhain. Characters that rock a readers socks, get you all involved and caring, then brilliant action that has your heart in your throat. And the odd clue to future books which get you thinking.
Ava Gray's Skin series, they are action suspense, and unlike any other romance out there IMO, and they rock my socks.
Angela Knight, I was a fan girl of hers several years ago, but for some reason she had slipped off my radar since. WHY??????? She is awesome! I just read Master of Smoke and Master of Fire in the Mageverse series, and they rocked! Awesome heroines, some humour, some heat and action! WOOT! I am now cursing myself for picking these books up at this time, as it is going to be a long wait for Belle's book. *WAILS*

Listing books can be time consuming

You know it can be funny (not) how long it takes to list some books, it can be kind of never ending sometimes, the little things with the website, sorting through five folders of photos to find you had overlooked it in the first folder. (There are 100s of photos in each folder) Finding blurbs, or typing them out, trying to describe the faults as honestly as possible, a million things that take up time, and sometimes it is even the simple things like trying to figure out which category a book fits in.
For example today the fun and games was trying to figure out whether Lynn Viehl's awesome Darkyn series fits more under urban fantasy than paranormal romance? It has the paranormal romance elements, but it definitely more gritty, like UF, but it has the HEA, but the plot strands are focused on a little more than the romance unlike normal PR... And are straight rom readers going to be put off by the UF elements if they buy it thinking it a straight PR???
ARGH!!
Book selling can be a fun thing.. uh huh.
